I invite you to visit often for updates, for you will begin to see what not only I saw in Santo, but everyone who met him saw. This site is a tribute to an incredible man--an artist in the truest sense of the word--and it is my intent to record historical data, artistic projects, family information as it is deemed appropriate by his family, and my own musings of my times with Santo.
Santo Matarazzo passed away on October 23, 2008, just two days after my birthday. However, he lives on in the memories of his family and friends, and his various forms of artwork were deeply inspiring, with each successive piece more incredible than the last.
So, sit back, pour yourself a glass of wine, and enjoy. In the coming weeks and months, I hope to build this into an accurate tribute to Santo--the artist, husband, father and friend. Please bear with me as I gather my stories from memory. It will take me quite a while to write down everything, and then arrange it properly.
